Статистический анализ, призванный уменьшить для инвестора спекулятивный риск путем достаточно тщательного расчета нормы прибыли за определенный период времени. Целью анализа является относительно краткосрочное вложение средств в акции в надежде получить прибыль в размере от 20 до 35% в годовом исчислении. "Арифметическое инвестирование" часто используется при выкупах контрольных пакетов акций предприятий менеджерами и при поглощениях.
